MAK has been successfully competing with government owned and internally developed solutions for over 30 years. This is in part due to MAK’s open API’s and MOSA approach, making it an ideal synthetic environment platform that can be customized to meet end users needs. The other reason for MAK’s continued success is our excellent support. MAK is known to continually go above and beyond to help our customers succeed. As Dan Brockway, MAK’s longtime VP of Marketing, coined, “MAK – Your engineer down the hall.” 

Why is our support so good? First, our product support is handled directly by the product developers. This gives our customers access to the person who likely wrote the code they need help with and gives our developers insight into customers’ challenges firsthand. 

Beyond direct access to our engineers, MAK also provides extensive online resources to ensure customers can find what they need—whenever they need it— available through mak.com. Every year we debate whether to limit the amount of information anyone can access on our website, from our API documentation to our list of known issues. Every year the answer is always, “why would we do that?!” MAK is honest (sometimes to a fault 😊) and providing insight into MAK ONE, warts and all, is in our DNA.
